Kairi is a young woman from another world.
The Great Storm eventually brought her to another world, where she made friends with two other refugees named Akane Tendo and Misty. Soon, she and the others joined the Army of Light, where it was discovered that she is one of the new Five Kings of Light.
Kairi also wields her own Keyblade in battle.
